Our Roots
HISTORY
In 2017, the natural extension of the compassion of our founders gave birth to Nature’s Spring Foundation, Incorporated—the corporate social responsibility of the Philippine Spring Water Resources Incorporated. Armed with a vision of “a country with empowered people committed to safe, sustainable and healthy communities”, Nature’s Spring Foundation, Inc. is a dedicated partner in improving the lives of every Filipino by delivering programs in the areas of education, health, and environment.
Formerly known as the Lay Kim and Corazon Foundation, Nature’s Spring Foundation, Inc. through its founders have already been engaged in numerous philanthropic activities with the aim of providing educational grants and scholarships to underprivileged and deserving students in Cebu province. It was the year 2017 when Nature’s Spring Foundation, Inc. became fully operational and started to expand its coverage nationwide.
Guided by its vision, mission and core values, Nature’s Spring Foundation, Inc. continues to strengthen its programs and serve the Filipino people with compassion, and ultimately establish itself as a key player in contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals in the areas of Poverty Reduction, Good Health, Quality Education, Clean Water and Sanitation, Climate Action and Partnership for the Goals.

Our team is composed of passionate individuals dedicated to uplifting lives through service and innovation.
Gabrielle T. Espinosa (Gab)
Gabrielle has worked with both NGOs and government agencies on disaster risk reduction, science and technology advocacy, and environmental initiatives. As Senior Program Officer for Environment and DRR, she leads program development and implementation, focusing on forest protection, climate justice, disaster resilience, and community development.
Proleta Nuñeza Gomez
With over 15 years of experience in the humanitarian and development sector, Proleta has worked closely with communities across the Philippines as Executive Director. She specializes in program and project management, Gender and Development (GAD) integration, and is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, climate justice, and environmental protection.

Robyn Raymonde B. Lacson
Robyn brings over a decade of service-oriented experience to her role as Volunteer Program and Partnerships Manager. She specializes in crisis management, partnership building, and volunteer coordination, with a deep commitment to equitable healthcare and youth and women empowerment.
Elvijen P. Mangalao
Elvijen worked as an Accounting Staff at private companies before joining the foundation as Bookkeeper. She is detail-oriented and skilled in reconciling accounts, petty cash and revolving fund management, and advocates for ethical standards and transparency in financial reporting.
Genesa P. Morga
Genesa has been working in the Admin and Finance sector within NGOs since 2008, bringing extensive expertise to her role as Finance Officer. She specializes in budget preparation and monitoring, fund management, and reconciliation, with a strong dedication to advancing social development through transparent financial practices.
Maricar P. Regulacion
Maricar brings a strong foundation in volunteer work and community service to her role as Social Welfare Officer for Education. She specializes in education program management, case management, and community organizing, with deep advocacy for mental health awareness and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to grow and experience life fully.
Ramil L. Rendal
Ramil began his forestry career working with community-based farmers association in Negros Oriental, bringing specialized expertise in forest management, protection, and rehabilitation. As Forest Extension Officer, he advocates for sustainable forest management, biodiversity conservation, and community-based environmental initiatives.
Cecile C. Cenas
Cecile has more than a decade of work experience across private, humanitarian, development organizations, and government institutions. As Social Welfare Officer for Education, she excels in project management, stakeholder building, community organizing, and peace education, advocating strongly for education as the great equalizer and zero tolerance for abuse.
