Nature’s Spring Foundation Formalizes Partnership with GIED in MOA Signing Ceremony
Nature’s Spring Foundation marked a significant milestone with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement with the Global Initiative for Exchange and Development Inc. (GIED) on February 10, 2026, at the Business Center of Bai Hotel Cebu.
The partnership establishes GIED as NSFI’s institutional partner for volunteer programs, bringing together local community development efforts with global expertise in voluntary service.
Through GIED’s specialization in global citizenship and voluntary service exchange, the foundation hopes to strengthen its volunteer capacity across education, health, environment, and disaster risk reduction initiatives. It will further enhance the quality and reach of NSFI’s programs, helping to better serve Filipino communities.
The partnership also aims to connect Nature’s Spring Foundation’s local community work with international frameworks and best practices. GIED’s three-point agenda—focusing on global citizenship, education and training, and social development—will provide valuable input to align NSFI’s mission with global development goals while maintaining its commitment to empowering Filipino communities.
The MOA signing also provided an opportunity for both organizations to discuss and share plans on working together moving forward.
