Nature’s Spring Foundation, Inc. (NSFI) recently met with the VDRN, Inc. – Visayas Disaster-Reduction Risk Network, to explore potential partnerships in disaster preparedness, prevention, and mitigation efforts in the Visayas and Mindanao regions.

VDRN is a grassroots network composed of people’s organizations, the academe, churches, and advocacy groups working closely with vulnerable communities affected by disasters. With a comprehensive disaster response framework, VDRN supports emergency response, recovery, and rehabilitation in partnership with government agencies such as DSWD and other service institutions and CSOs.
Through this collaboration, NSFI and VDRN aim to strengthen local capacities, enhance coordination, and contribute to the vision of people-based, disaster-resilient communities, ensuring no one is left behind when disaster strikes.
Working together can protect lives, promote resilience, and empower communities through proactive and inclusive disaster management.
