Strengthening Community Resilience and Partnerships for Forest Conservation

Nature’s Spring Foundation Inc. (NSFI) recently held a Project Risk Management and Contingency Planning Workshop in Alegria, Cebu, with key partners of the WATER Reforestation Project.

The workshop aimed to collaboratively identify and address potential risks to the project—ensuring inclusive and practical plans that reflect stakeholder priorities, build local ownership, and strengthen community resilience.

We also conducted a Partnership Review and Consultation with LGU MENRO Alegria, reinforcing our shared commitment to sustainable forest protection and conservation in the town of Alegria.

We are grateful to our dedicated partners who joined us in this important initiative:

LGU Alegria – Municipal Mayor, MENRO, MAO, and Sangguniang Bayan

DENR – CBFM Chief of CENRO Argao

Partner People’s Organizations – Compostela Farmers Association, Guadalupe Upland Farmers Association, Lepantohanong Hugpong sa Kalamboan, and Valencia Inghoy Farmers Association

Together, we are building a greener, safer, and more sustainable future for Alegria. e right typography sets the tone for your content.
