NSFI believes protecting forests means protecting futures—for communities, ecosystems, and generations to come.

Through the WATER Reforestation Project, NSFI works with DENR and local People’s Organizations to restore forest cover in watershed areas across Regions 3, 4A, 7, 10, and 11. In 2024, the program adopted 70 new hectares of forest land, planting over 60,000 fruit, native, and indigenous tree seedlings—bringing the total to 150 hectares reforested. The initiative goes beyond planting trees: it supports community-based forest management, introduces high-value agroforestry species, and strengthens local livelihoods through sustainable practices. With over 1,000 PO members engaged, NSFI ensures that environmental resilience is built from the ground up—through planning, partnerships, and long-term care.

Every tree planted is a step toward a stronger tomorrow. Improving the lives of every Filipino.
