Nature’s Spring Foundation Welcomes 50 New Scholars for Academic Year 2025-2026
MANDAUE CITY — Nature’s Spring Foundation, Inc. (NSFI) has welcomed 50 new scholars for Academic Year 2025-2026, marking another milestone in the organization’s commitment to education and nation-building.
The Foundation conducted separate orientation sessions for two distinct scholarship programs during September and October 2025.
Scholars from PSWRI and Its Affiliates
NSFI congratulated 15 new scholars from Philippine Spring Water Resources Inc. (PSWRI) and its affiliates during orientations held on September 30, 2025 in Region 10, October 2, 2025 in Region 3 via online platform, and October 6, 2025 in Region 7. These scholars, children of PSWRI employees, attended the sessions with their parents.
The orientations introduced scholars and their families to NSFI’s mission, values, and programs, while outlining the roles and responsibilities expected of scholarship recipients. Following the sessions, all participants formally signed their scholarship contracts, marking the beginning of their journey with the Foundation.
Scholars Directly Administered by the Education Program
On October 13, 2025, NSFI welcomed 35 Batch 7 scholars during an orientation at the Business Center of bai Hotel in Mandaue City. These scholars, directly administered by the NSFI Education Program and enrolled across various Cebu Technological University campuses, participated in a comprehensive program that included an introduction to NSFI, detailed discussion of scholarship provisions, contract signing, and photo opportunities.
Several scholars shared their reflections on the significance of the program. Mary Joy Millan said the orientation helped her realize that “being a Nature’s Spring Foundation scholar means becoming part of a community that values integrity, excellence, and service.”
John Mark Brigondot noted that receiving the opportunity “means someone believes in our future, now it’s our turn to believe in it even more.”
Kindy Lomosbog emphasized that being an NSFI scholar extends beyond academic achievement. “It’s a responsibility to keep learning, to grow every day, and to make the most of the opportunities given to us,” he said, adding that the orientation made him realize they are “part of a community that encourages us to dream big and give back.”
Nicole Angel Narandan reflected on the broader purpose of the scholarship, stating that through the Foundation, she realized “success isn’t only measured in grades, but in the kind of person we are becoming.”
Charissa Megan Buscato described the orientation as a pivotal moment. “NSFI Orientation feels like the real start of our journey. It helps us understand what it means to be responsible and disciplined, not just for school but for the bigger role we’ll play in the future,” she said. “It reminds us that we’re part of something important, and that we have a responsibility to help our community and take care of the resources we’ve been given.”
Another scholar highlighted similar themes about preparation for future responsibilities, noting the importance of understanding their role within the community.
Supporting Educational Excellence
Nature’s Spring Foundation operates its scholarship program through two mechanisms: supporting scholars directly administered by the NSFI Education Program, and providing educational support to children of PSWRI employees and its affiliates.
Since its establishment in 2017 as the corporate social responsibility arm of PSWRI, NSFI has been providing educational grants and scholarships to students across the Philippines. The Foundation operates comprehensive programs in education, health, and environment, working toward sustainable development goals.
NSFI congratulated all new scholars and their families, expressing its commitment to supporting them in their pursuit of excellence throughout their academic journey.###
